Background and purpose
The procurement mainly comprises a system for control and follow-up of the street light installations, including the accompanying communication services and the necessary equipment.
The existing units for controlling street lights currently communicate via Telenor ́s 2G network. As a result of the planned phasing-out of 2G, there is a need to replace parts of the current equipment. There are also units that use 4G/5G, and these can be relevant for further use.
The aim of the procurement is to facilitate energy efficient operation of the street light installations, at the same time that the system shall be reliable and provide a good overview of the status and function.
The contract period is 3 years from when the contract is signed, the contract will be extended thereafter by 1 year at a time until notice is given on the contract.

Climate and environment
- •This procurement uses the exclusionary provision in PPR § 7-9 (4), since it is clear that the climate and environmental requirements in the procurement have a better climate and environmental effect than the use of the award criteria. Justification: The contracting authority assesses that the climate and environmental effect in this procurement is mainly for the operation and use of the system, including energy efficient control of lighting.
- •Functionality such as automatic control based on the dusk table contributes to reduced energy consumption and therefore safeguards central climate and environmental considerations.
- •The contracting authority considers, on this basis, that climate and environmental effect is better safeguarded through functionality and lifetime requirements than by award criteria.
Price: The price form will be assessed under this criteria.
Quality: Under this criteria, associated requirements will be assessed.
