Expansion of Kvernaland sheltered accommodation centre – ground, water and sewage, foundations and outdoor installations – EP02 – contract award

Time municipality shall expand Kvernaland welfare centre with 27 new places. The places shall be organised as book collectives, divided in three departments. Each department consists of nine bed rooms connected to a common living room. The extension shall be adapted to the user group, which primarily consists of elderly persons with dementia, and emphasis will be put on a homely design, good accessibility and robust solutions. The total area of use (BRA) for the expansion is 2,156 m². A closed sensory garden will form a closed sensory garden with an outer wall in the existing sheltered care centre.
