The Contracting Authority for this procurement is Møre og Romsdal County, for transport, department FRAM. The contract is for the procurement of transport services for the operation of the ålesund-hamnsund connection via Valderøy and Store Kalvøy - hereafter called Hamnsundruta.The contract period is from when the contract is signed until 31.12.2029.The operational period is 01.01.2027 - 31.12.2029.The contracting authority has a unilateral option to extend the contract for 2 years. one year at a time (1+1). The competition will be held as a competition with negotiations. The contract between the Contracting Authority and the Operator will be based on the main principles of a gross contract, which i.a. means that all ticket revenue belongs to the Contracting Authority. The operator will receive a fixed contractual allowance for the execution of the Assignment.

Route production
- •The award criterion 'Route production' will be evaluated based on the number of trips offered between Hamsund and Ålesund monday-Sunday, cf. Annex 3 point 1.3.2. Call at Valderøy and Store Kalvøy is not included in the evaluation.
- •The offered route production shall be stated in the attached Annex 3.1 Timetable.
Environment
- •The award criteria 'Environment' will be assessed on the stated CO2 emissions per km.
- •Co2 emissions shall be stated in Annex 4.1 CO2 emissions.
Passenger capacity
- •The award criterion 'passenger capacity' will be evaluated based on the offered passenger capacity of the vessel, cf. Annex 2 point 1.4.1.
- •In the evaluation, the Contracting Authority will emphasise certified passenger capacity beyond the minimum requirement, but limited up to passenger capacity of 100. The offered passenger capacity of 100 or more will have a grade of 5, cf. point 4.3.
- •The offered passenger capacity shall be stated in the attached Annex 2.4 Passenger Capacity.
