Qualification System - Certifying Authority offshore high voltage stations Germany and The Netherlands

This publication in Mercell Source-to-Contract does not concern a new Qualification System, but is a continuation of the Qualification System previously published in Negometrix under number 212912 and the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (http://ted.europa.eu) under number TED06/2022-282904. The transfer of the original Qualification System, and the republication in Mercell Source-to-Contract and in the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (http://ted.europa.eu) under number TED06/2022-282904 is therefore only an administrative act. -------------------- Description TenneT is responsible for the majority of the Dutch offshore grid and part of the German offshore grid. In this role, TenneT is responsible for the design, fabrication, installation and operation of the grid connections which will transport offshore generated power to shore. For such grid connections, TenneT has developed two standard platform concepts up to the level of basic design; a 700MW AC offshore substation and a 2GW DC offshore converter station. The offshore platforms that are to be realized need to be certified in accordance with applicable technical standards. The correct implementation of these standards into the design and the actual execution of the works is part of the responsibility of the stations contractor. With this Qualification System, TenneT aims to qualify candidates that are capable of acting as a certifying authority for 2GW offshore stations and / or 700 MW offshore substations, and review the design and execution of the work of the stations contractor to ensure compliance with the DNV standard DNV-ST-0145, and certify the platform according service specification DNV-SE-00073/DNV-SE-00190 for Dutch offshore stations, and BSH 7005 for German offshore stations.
