ESA TECHNOLOGY BROKER NETHERLANDS 2026-2028 (RE-ISSUE)

The primary objective of this activity is to create added value for European industry by solving their technology needs using spacetechnology and to solve the needs of the European Space industry using terrestrial innovations. This shall include the following main activities: contribute to building an ecosystem fuelling technical innovation and business growth between space and terrestrial industries; generating collaborative, commercial activities between non-space entities and the space industry; develop relationships and interface with space technology developers within the Netherlands; perform an Opportunity Analysis of markets within the Netherlands that have high potential for either using space technology or contributing innovations to the space industry; subsequently engage these non-space industries leading to the creation of Technology Needs and candidate innovations for spin-in; promotion, event organisation, and participation; create a digital presence, promote news stories, and provide content to the ESA Commercialisation Network Website; coordinate collaborate with other members of the ESA Commercialisation Network within the Netherlands as well as with ESA Technology Brokers in other Participating States. In detail the following indicative goals have been defined to be completed over the duration of the contract: support at least 6 Successful Business Support Cases (SBSC). A sufficient pipeline of opportunities to support meeting the above objective shall also be developed with the following as anticipated performance indicators: 60 Introductions brokered between economic operators in the space and non-space industries; 30 Facilitations achieved. Additionally, the bidder is expected to capture 30 Technology Descriptions or Technology Needs and to respond to all Technology Needs posed by other ESA Technology Brokers within the requested time frame.
